Every window offered jaw-dropping views of the stunning fields and sky, making us feel incredibly close to nature. With just a short drive, we got to explore the picturesque town of Leek and conquer the easy uphill trek to the top of the ridge at The Roaches for breathtaking panoramic views. We even had a fascinating day trip to the village of Eyam, where we learned about its unique plague history. The hosts, Keith and Thelma, were not only respectful but also intriguing, sparking lively conversations with my husband and forging a connection over shared interests.
